Accessory Inventory Management Is Now Connected to iQmetrix
The accessory wall changes quickly. A case that needs deeper stock during a device launch may need a much different inventory level a few months later. Demand can also vary from one store to the next, even across locations operating under the same banner.
Valor Communication’s Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) integration with iQmetrix is now live, bringing store-level wireless accessory replenishment directly into the iQmetrix Intelligent Commerce Operating System.
The integration is available across the iQmetrix client base and connects actual store-level sell-through with weekly replenishment recommendations and Valor-managed ordering. Each VMI account is also assigned a named inventory analyst responsible for monitoring performance and helping keep inventory aligned with demand.
For multi-location wireless retailers, store owners, and accessory buyers, the goal is straightforward: spend less time deciding what needs to be reordered and make those decisions using what is actually selling.

How Valor Vendor Managed Inventory Works for Wireless Retailers
Vendor Managed Inventory shifts part of the replenishment process from the retailer to the supplier.
Valor monitors store-level sell-through and uses that performance to provide weekly replenishment recommendations. Orders are then placed on the retailer’s behalf against minimum and maximum inventory levels established together at the beginning of the program.
Those levels are not static. They can be adjusted as demand changes through the device lifecycle, and a named Valor inventory analyst is assigned to every VMI account to follow performance week to week.
The process works like this:
|
Inventory Step |
How Valor VMI Handles It |
|
Store performance |
Monitors actual store-level sell-through |
|
Replenishment |
Provides weekly inventory recommendations |
|
Stock levels |
Works from jointly established min/max levels |
|
Ordering |
Places replenishment orders on the retailer’s behalf |
|
Ongoing management |
Adjusts recommendations as device demand changes |
|
Account support |
Assigns a named inventory analyst to every VMI account |
The important distinction is the data behind the decision. Replenishment is based on what is moving at the store rather than treating last season’s assortment as the default for the next one.
Why Factory-Direct Matters in Vendor Managed Inventory
VMI works best when the company making the inventory decision can also act on it.
Valor designs, builds, packages, and ships its own accessory line. There is no additional distributor between a stock decision and the shipment that follows.
That matters when a store needs more of a fast-moving product, when a new handset creates immediate demand, or when inventory needs to be adjusted as a device moves through its lifecycle.
Valor’s model combines the product and the replenishment process under the same partner. The broader catalog spans protection, power, audio, attachables, wearables, and other wireless accessory categories, with device coverage extending across Tier 1, Tier 2, and carrier-exclusive models.
For retailers, that creates a broader inventory program than managing one case line or one product category at a time.
One Partner for the Whole Accessory Wall
Managing accessory inventory gets harder when every part of the wall comes from a different source.
Valor gives retailers one partner for the whole accessory wall, including phone protection, charging, power, audio, mounts, stands, straps, wearables, and other attachable accessories.
That coverage comes with commercial terms built around wireless retail:
-
No minimum order quantities on stocked SKUs
-
Flexible payment terms, subject to credit approval
-
Free ground shipping on orders of $100 or more
-
Coverage across Tier 1, Tier 2, and carrier-exclusive devices
-
In-house brands spanning multiple price points and accessory categories
-
Curated third-party brands alongside Valor’s owned assortment
Valor’s catalog includes more than 16,000 active SKUs across the accessory portfolio.
For multi-door operators, that means replenishment can extend beyond the highest-volume flagship accessories and account for the device mix individual locations actually sell.
Design Lab Adds More Ways to Differentiate the Case Wall
Inventory performance is one part of the assortment. Giving customers something different to choose from is another.
Valor’s Design Lab provides more than 500 curated designs, with new designs released every quarter. The program is built around seasonal, trend-driven, and other changing design directions rather than leaving the printed-case assortment static throughout the year.
Retailers can also develop custom printed accessories for a particular region, market, or program. That gives accessory buyers another lever beyond changing price points or adding more versions of the same basic case.
The New MyBat Pro Lineup Leads the iQmetrix Rollout
The initial Valor rollout through iQmetrix features the newest MyBat Pro products in updated branding and packaging, led by protection for the latest iPhone generation and a new power lineup.
The assortment gives retailers several ways to build around the same accessory wall, from rugged and style-driven cases to screen and lens protection, bundled essentials, GaN chargers, and higher-output USB-C cables.
New MyBat Pro Protection for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
The latest MyBat Pro protection assortment gives retailers more than one case profile to merchandise around a new device launch.
For rugged protection, the MyBat Pro Maverick Series Rogue Edition MagSafe Case for iPhone 18 Pro / 17 Pro brings a triple-layer build, textured grip, and magnetic compatibility. The MyBat Pro Contour Series MagSafe Wavy Matte Case for iPhone 18 Pro / 17 Pro shifts the assortment toward a sculpted matte finish, while the MyBat Pro Shade Series Case with MagSafe Ring Stand for iPhone 18 Pro / 17 Pro adds an integrated stand for hands-free use.
Protection extends beyond the case. The MyBat Pro Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 18 Pro / 17 Pro covers the display, while the MyBat Pro Tempered Glass CamShield Lens Protector for iPhone 18 Pro Max / 18 Pro adds targeted protection around the camera system.
That gives stores a more complete protection story around the device rather than treating the case as the entire accessory sale.

New MyBat Pro Power Expands the Assortment Beyond Protection
The new MyBat Pro power assortment gives retailers several charging options to merchandise around different device and customer needs.
The MyBat Pro 35W GaN Dual-Port Wall Charger covers compact two-port charging, while the MyBat Pro 45W Dual-Port Digital Display GaN Wall Charger adds two USB-C ports and a real-time output display. The MyBat Pro 70W Three-Port Digital Display GaN Wall Charger moves up to two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and up to 70W output for higher-power and multi-device setups.
The lineup also extends into the car with the MyBat Pro 75W Dual-Port Car Charger with Retractable USB-C Cable + Digital Display, giving retailers another way to build the power category beyond the wall outlet.
Cables complete the setup. The MyBat Pro 60W USB-C to USB-C Braided Charging Cable – 6FT covers everyday USB-C charging, while the MyBat Pro 240W USB-C to USB-C Braided Charging Cable – 6FT supports higher-output charging for compatible devices. For multi-device setups, the MyBat Pro 100W USB-C to Dual USB-C Braided Charging Cable – 6FT splits one USB-C connection into two outputs.
Together, the lineup gives stores several charging conversations instead of one generic wall adapter or cable.
Accessory Inventory Changes Throughout the Device Lifecycle
The right inventory level on launch week is not necessarily the right level three months later.
A new flagship may initially create heavy demand for protection and charging. As that device moves further into its lifecycle, sell-through may shift toward different colors, price points, or accessory types. Tier 2 and carrier-exclusive devices can create a different pattern entirely.
That is where store-level VMI becomes useful. Instead of treating every store or device the same, replenishment can respond to actual sales performance and min/max levels can be adjusted as demand changes.
|
Retail Challenge |
Valor VMI Approach |
|
Too much time spent managing accessory inventory |
Weekly recommendations and Valor-managed ordering |
|
Stockouts on current products |
Store-level sell-through helps identify replenishment needs |
|
Too much inventory on slowing devices |
Min/max levels can be adjusted through the device lifecycle |
|
Different demand across locations |
Performance is monitored at the store level |
|
Too many accessory suppliers |
Broader protection, power, audio, attachables, and wearables assortment |
|
Tier 2 devices are under-covered |
Assortment extends beyond major flagship models |
|
Case wall lacks differentiation |
Design Lab curated and custom print programs |
For a multi-location retailer, that means a product does not have to perform identically across every door for inventory decisions to reflect what each store is actually selling.
Valor Owns the Line From Concept to Peg
Tom Redington, VP of Sales at Valor Communication, explains why the VMI integration and Valor’s factory-direct model work together:
Already Using iQmetrix? Bring Valor Into the Accessory Program
Retailers already operating on iQmetrix can now connect accessory replenishment with Valor through the same Intelligent Commerce Operating System.
The process starts by establishing the assortment and initial inventory levels together. From there, store-level sell-through feeds weekly recommendations, min/max levels can be adjusted as demand shifts, and the assigned Valor inventory analyst helps manage ongoing performance.
For iQmetrix retailers managing multiple locations, changing device demand, or a broad accessory wall, that turns replenishment into a managed process rather than another recurring spreadsheet exercise.
